What we do
FirstBell indexes every registered school in South Africa — public and independent, IEB and CAPS, Cambridge and IB. We publish fees, grades, gender, boarding status, and admissions information in one place so that families can shortlist, compare, and apply.
How we pay the bills
We don't. FirstBell is free for every school to be listed and free for every parent to use. We don't accept paid rankings, boosted listings, or private advertisements on school pages.
Data & accuracy
Fees and admissions data are sourced from published school fee schedules and verified annually. If you see something out of date, please let us know and we'll update it.
